About the event

The 2nd Training School and Research Colloquium on Next Generation Communications (NextGCom) with the focus on AI/ML for 6G Communication Networks will take place in Argostoli,Kefalonia (Greece) a vibrant coastal town surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea and the lush landscapes of the island.

The NextGCom 2025 event is co-organized by one6G Association, the Ionian University, Z-RED L.P.,the Ionian University, IEEE Communication Greece Chapter , and the International Hellenic University (Greece). Huawei is the Patron of the event that is endorshed and supported by IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) Young Professionals, IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee in Information Infrastructure & Networking (TCIIN) and IEEE Student Branch @IHU in Thessaloniki.

The main focus of NextGCom is for PhD/Early Stage Researchers to attend lectures from leading experts but also present their research outputs (and receive constructive feedback).

Ionian University
